This is one of the few examples of equipment using the new 5.8Ghz ISM licence free band. If you are experiencing difficulty finding a free 2.4Ghz channel then the 5.8Ghz band is the answer.

The 2.4Ghz ISM band is shared by various systems including CCTV, WiFi and you microwave oven believe it or not, so if you want to move away from the crowd you can with this new camera and receiver kit.
