Power to the CameraSwitching your Hidden Camera on and off
Your Hidden Cameras is normally powered by batteries which must be turned off when the camera is not in use. Often a hidden camera can not be recovered and switched off manually once deployed so in order to preserve the batteries for when the camera is needed we have built into each Hidden Camera our remotely operated on off control electronics so at the press of a button you can remotely switch off your camera until it is needed again.
A hidden camera once deployed can remain in its hidden location in standby mode for well over a year. Our hidden cameras have enough battery power to run them for between 8 and 72 hours of accumulated transmissions time depending on the type of camera and the particular battery in use.
Two types of hand held remote control units are available for turning your camera on and off, a single location unit is used when only one hidden camera is in use or for more serious work a four camera controller is available.
For stand alone operation a number of automatic camera/recorder intruder triggering devices are available - see Remote Activation section for available products. |
